The Company recruiting for the HVAC Design Engineer:

The Role of a HVAC Design Engineer:

Based daily from the Wednesbury site

The role is predominantly design focused

Utilising AutoCAD 2D to design pipework systems
-
Conduct calculations for airflow volumes, utilising floor plans
-
As the role is fluid, you'll be assisting with the estimation side too
-
Formulating quotes, updating margins and spreadsheets, compiling basic Bills of Materials (BoM's)

Liaise with M&E contractors and consultants
-
Working on 1 - 6 projects at a time

Mon - Fri position, 08:30 - 16:30

Longer term progression to project management positions
The Candidate for the HVAC Design Engineer Position:
- Design experience is needed with AutoCAD 2D
- Have existing office-based design experience
- Ideal background is from HVAC, but other mechanical design sectors will be considered
- Some working knowledge of real-world project management / project engineering
- Able to assist with the estimation side of the role
- You'll be professional and have excellent communication skills.
- Strong working knowledge of Excel.
- Able to commute daily to Wednesbury.
The Package for a HVAC Design Engineer:
- £30,000 - £40,000 depending on experience
- Training, support, and progression to project management
