Are you a passionate and experienced Chemistry Teacher looking for an exciting new opportunity in Ealing? We are seeking a qualified Chemistry Teacher to join our secondary school starting this September. Candidates must be able to teach chemistry across all secondary ages and have previous experience teaching music.

  • *Key Responsibilities:**

- Plan, deliver, and assess engaging and effective chemistry lessons for students across all secondary age groups.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages scientific inquiry and critical thinking.
- Develop and implement creative teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of all students.
- Incorporate music teaching into the curriculum, leveraging your previous experience to enhance the learning experience.
- Monitor and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
- Establish strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to support student learning and development.
- Participate in school activities and contribute to the wider school community.
- Stay current with developments in chemistry education and integrate new knowledge into teaching practice.

  • *Requirements:**

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching chemistry at the secondary level.
- Strong knowledge of the chemistry curriculum and best practices in teaching.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create a stimulating and nurturing learning environment.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- A valid enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one).
