Customer Account Executive

  • Annual Salary: £24,000 for experience within customer services and £26,000 for sales administration experience.
  • Location: Ipswich
  • Job Type: Full-time- 12-month FTC

We are actively seeking a Customer Account Executive who is passionate about delivering outstanding customer service and excels in managing client relationships. This role is essential for a service-driven individual who is eager to enhance customer engagement and effectively manage inventory, orders, and sales forecasts.

Responsibilities:

  • Acquire thorough knowledge of our product range to effectively recommend and upsell to clients.
  • Forge and maintain robust relationships with a varied client base.
  • Handle the administration of customer accounts across different industry segments.
  • Track order progress, manage inventory forecasts, and coordinate timely delivery schedules.
  • Facilitate communication between customers and suppliers regarding stock, purchase, and sales orders.
  • Quickly address and resolve customer issues with appropriate solutions.
  • Assist the external sales team by providing vital data and insights.
  • Conduct occasional visits to customers and suppliers to reinforce business relationships.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in customer service or sales administration within an office setting.
  • Skilled in multitasking, prioritising tasks, and managing time effectively.
  • Knowledge of customer forecasting and order management.
  • Team-oriented with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment.
  • Effective problem-solving skills with a focus on resolving customer and supplier issues.
  • Professional demeanour with a proactive and positive approach.
  • Reliable and adaptable to meet the evolving needs of the business.
  • Excellent communication skills and proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.

  • Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8.30 am to 5.00 pm, 37.5 hours per week.
