- Hourly Rate: £16.00 - £21.00 (depending on experience)

- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:30/7:00 am to 2:30/3:00 pm
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Chef to join our team on a temporary basis, providing high-quality meals in a school environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting. A DBS check is required for this position.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Preparing a variety of nutritious and well-balanced meals for students and staff.
- Ensuring that all dishes are cooked and presented to a high standard.
- Adhering to food hygiene and safety standards at all times.
- Managing kitchen inventory and ordering supplies as needed.
- Working within a team to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen.
- Maintaining a clean and organised work environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Chef, with a track record of creating high-quality dishes.
- Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
- Familiarity with industry's best practices and culinary techniques.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stand for extended periods.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- A valid DBS check or willingness to undergo one.
