We are currently working in partnership with a service provider to the local government based in South East London, who are recruiting for a HR Advisor on a permanent contract.

This will be a full-time position based in South East London, fully on site for the first 6 months and a salary of £34,600 - £36,500 per annum.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Managing own employee relations caseload including sickness, disciplinary and grievances,
- providing advice and guidance to managers as necessary including working with trade unions
- Helping managers to resolve sickness absence cases in a timely manner
- Supporting managers during investigations and hearings, taking notes, report writing and outcome letters, as necessary
- Assisting in the end-to-end recruitment process, including participating in interview panels
- Assisting in the processing of leavers, new starters, and any other contractual variations
- within the set deadlines
- Supporting the HR Manager and Senior HR Advisor in relation to HR projects, processes and procedures
- Contributing to and lead on sourcing or providing direct training
- Consulting with payroll teams to inform them of any contractual variations within the set deadlines, escalating issues to the HR Manager where necessary
Experience required:
- Dealing with ER casework which range in complexity
- Overseeing of the recruitment lifecycle
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
- Strong administration and organisational skills
- Ability to communicate well both verbally and written
- Enjoys working with others and can work as part of a small team
Working hours :
- 35 hours per week
- Monday - Friday, 9am-5pm
