Sales Administrator

Our client is an established organisation looking for a Sales Administrator to join their team based in Basingstoke.

The successful candidate will become part of a close-knit team, and the role of the Sales Administrator will be varied.

Duties will include:

  • Engaging with customers via inbound phone and email contact.
  • Responding to quote requests.
  • Taking ownership of quotes and raising sales quotes.
  • Managing orders; including order processing, planning dispatches and raising invoices.
  • Providing prompt and comprehensive responses to customer queries relating to stock availability, delivery and complaints.
  • Managing any issues that arise, ensuring they are investigated, and a solution is found, which is then communicated to the customer.
  • Coordinating product returns in line with company procedure and arranging customer credit notes.
  • Maintaining the customer databases.
  • Managing purchase order data.
  • Contacting and liaising with suppliers.
  • Raising works orders.
  • Running planned reports
  • Managing the stock inventory and sales orders.
  • Contributing to business report generation, producing documentation in line with internal guidelines.
  • General administration support duties.

The candidate:

  • Experience within a customer care/service team.
  • An outgoing and dynamic individual.
  • Great attention to detail.
  • Accurate data entry skills.
  • A proactive and engaging character, who can work as part of a team or alone.

This is a permanent, full time role and working hours are Monday to Friday, start and finish times may be flexible. There is also the option to work 1 day per week from home, but initial training will be fully office based for 3 months.

The role pays £26,000- £28,000pa and benefits include 25 days holiday plus stats (increasing with service) and free on site parking.
