Location: Birmingham
Hours: 9:00 am to 5:30 pm (Monday - Thursday), 9:00 am to 5:00 pm (Friday) - 37 hours per week, including a 1-hour lunch break

A prestigious Legal 500 firm in Birmingham is currently seeking a Contentious Probate Solicitor to join their thriving team. This is an exceptional opportunity to work in a supportive environment with a focus on personal legal services.

About the Role:

As a Contentious Probate Solicitor, you will manage a mixed caseload of high-quality matters, including:

  • Disputes between beneficiaries and executors or trustees regarding the performance of their duties.
  • Administration of estates and trusts.

You will also have the opportunity to supervise junior team members and contribute to the growth of the department through business development and networking activities.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience: A qualified Contentious Probate Solicitor with 10+ years PQE.
  • Client Care: Excellent client care and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build strong relationships.
  • Local Connections: A network of contacts in the Birmingham market and some following of work is advantageous.
  • Communication: A confident communicator comfortable with business development activities.
  • Qualifications: Ideally, you will be ACTAPS qualified, although this is not essential.
