Sales Manager Role (FTC 12 Months) - Manchester- Contract: 12-month Fixed-Term Contract - Up to £38,000 + bonus

The Candidate is recruiting a Sales Manager on behalf of worldwide media organisation. This company is renowned for its talented, dedicated, and creative people. With a passion for storytelling and capturing moments, this organisation reaches over 30 million people weekly through its various media outlets, including prominent newspapers and radio stations. The Sales Manager will be part of the wider Commercial team is responsible for the sales, operations, commercial product strategy, and partnerships for the company's renowned brands.

Role Responsibilities of the Sales Manager:

Advertising Solutions: Sell market-leading advertising solutions across digital and print platforms, including branded content, video, and programmatic channels.

Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships within agency groups, focusing on investment, planning, digital, programmatic, and publishing teams.

External Profile: Maintain a high external profile through presentations, meetings, and agency events, becoming a visible face of the company in Manchester.

Data Utilisation: Utilise first-party data to apply audience and product insights, securing commercial revenue.

Innovation: Collaborate with the wider team to develop new and innovative commercial ideas, driving incremental spend across multiple platforms.

Campaign Management: Work with digital and print operations teams to deliver campaigns accurately and on time, maximising performance.

Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service throughout the sales cycle, from prospecting to post-campaign analysis.

Growth Objectives: Define growth objectives for the agency portfolio through a well-articulated business plan.

Analytical Skills: Produce accurate analytical and financial information and maintain accurate Salesforce records, collaborating effectively with other departments through CRM.

Key Skills:

Presentation: Ability to build high-quality decks proactively and in response to briefs, with accurate media plans.

Data Literacy: Proficient in using first-party data to build compelling sales narratives.
