Accounts Payable Clerk
Immediate Start - Temp / Fixed Term Contract - 3 months, likely to be extended

Sensational opportunity to join highly successful business at an exciting time of finance change and automation. We're keen to speak with hard-working Accounts Payable Clerks with the skill and initiative to support in clearing an extensive back-log of invoices.
The priority of the contract is to clear the back-log of invoices in the aid of AP automation moving forward, any experience using Bottomline or other AP Automation / AI Machine Learning systems would be beneficial but not essential, it's the hard-working input that really counts.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Registering supplier invoices upon receipt through Microsoft Dynamics finance system
- Processing of invoices including stock invoices
- Matching and clearing stock invoices against GRNs
- Liaising with the relevant departments to ensure that invoices are appropriately authorised and coded
- Assist in preparing and managing weekly payment runs, ensuring that suppliers are paid according to credit terms
- Processing direct debits
- Follow up and clear outstanding items / queries and debit balances
- Completing Supplier Statement reconciliations as required
- Support and assist in other areas of the finance team as required (e.g. expenses)
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, supervisors, and external contacts
- Ensure that all services and activities are provided in accordance with current legislation, guidelines and Company process and policy
- Continually look for, and suggest, improvements across, process, people, and systems
- Any other reasonable duties as requested by your supervisor, the Department Manger or Director or the Company Director Team in their absence
Although the role is initially offered as a Temp / Fixed Term Contract (whichever your preference), I've worked with this intelligent organisation on many occasions and can vouch for the fact that they are opportunistic hirers. Sufficed to say, you do a good job and further opportunity may present itself.
