Tenancy Enforcement Officer

We are currently seeking a proactive and committed Tenancy Enforcement Officer to join our Housing and Neighbourhoods team. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in maintaining a safe and supportive environment for our staff, residents, tenants, and the wider community by effectively managing and reducing Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB).

Day to Day of the Role:

  • Maintain and control a safe environment for all community members.
  • Collate evidence of ASB, challenge breaches of tenancy, and enforce Housing Policy guidelines.
  • Gather and provide witness statements for court action when necessary.
  • Work in partnership with other agencies, including Concierge, Emergency Services, and Support Agencies, to minimise ASB in Supported Housing Activities.
  • Support the delivery of Housing Services through increased partnership working and a holistic approach to service delivery.
  • Move away from a ‘one size fits all' approach, adopting a more tailored and discretionary method to meet the diverse needs of the community.
  • Contribute positively to the development of sustainable neighbourhoods and the promotion of social inclusion.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience in tenancy enforcement or a related field within housing services.
  • Strong understanding of housing legislation and the ability to enforce tenancy agreements.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with various agencies.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality services and improving community wellbeing.
  • A flexible and adaptable approach to work, with the ability to tailor services to meet diverse needs.
