Legionella Risk Assessor - Edinburgh, United Kingdom
£35,000 - £36,000 per annum
We are currently recruiting for a competent and experienced Legionella Risk Assessor on behalf of our client in Edinburgh. This role primarily involves conducting Legionella risk assessments in the East of Scotland region, so we urge anybody looking for a regionalised role to apply!
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Legionella Risk Assessments in line with ACOP L8 & HSG274.
- Identify potential sources of Legionella contamination and recommend appropriate control measures.
- Prepare detailed reports outlining assessment findings and recommendations for clients.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure effective communication and project coordination.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Legionella regulations, guidelines, and best practices.
Requirements:
- City & Guilds in Legionella Risk Assessing (or equivalent).
- Proven experience in Legionella risk assessment, with a demonstrable track record of delivering high-quality results.
- Strong understanding of Legionella control measures and risk management strategies.
- Experience in healthcare and/or pseudomonas risk assessments is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently with clients and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and adaptable approach to tasks.
- Full UK driving license and willingness to travel occasionally.
