PAYROLL ADMINISTRATOR

A permanent opportunity to support one of the world's leading universities as a Payroll Administrator!

PAYROLL ADMINISTRATOR ROLE:

  • Processing payroll for all university employees accurately and timely, including salary calculations, deductions, and adjustments
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations governing payroll, including tax laws, pension schemes, and employment regulations
  • Maintaining accurate payroll records and employee data in the payroll system, ensuring confidentiality and data security
  • Collaborating with HR colleagues to ensure accurate processing of new hires, terminations, promotions, and other changes affecting payroll
  • Responding promptly to employee inquiries and requests related to payroll, providing excellent customer service and resolving issues effectively
  • Reconciling payroll reports and resolving discrepancies as needed, ensuring accuracy of payments and deductions
  • Staying informed about changes in payroll regulations and best practices, and updating payroll processes accordingly
  • Assisting with payroll-related projects and initiatives, such as system upgrades, process improvements, and audits
  • Providing support and guidance to managers and employees on payroll-related matters, including tax withholding, benefits, and expense reimbursements

PAYROLL ADMINISTRATOR ESSENTIALS:

  • 12 months working in the finance and payroll space
  • Two years working in administrator
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
