Semi Senior Accountant Leeds 37-hour workweek with flexible working around core hours (10:30 am - 4:00 pm)

As a Semi-Senior Accountant, you will be required to:
- Prepare financial statements and tax returns for small to medium-sized businesses
- Perform corporation tax calculations, VAT returns, and management accounts
- Engage in client interaction and provide excellent customer service
- Train apprentices and support their development
- Take on additional responsibilities such as payroll and company secretarial duties
Candidate:
- Minimum of 3 years experience in an accountancy practice
- Proficient in cloud-based bookkeeping software such as QuickBooks and Xero
- Experience with Sage 50, Iris, and Sage Business Cloud is advantageous
- Proficient in written and technical skills
- Strong prioritisation and organisational abilities
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- AAT-qualified or similar
- Open to offering a training contract with ICAEW or ACCA for further career progression
