Hours of work:

Monday - Thursday: 08:30 - 17:00 (45 minutes lunch)

Friday: 08:30 - 16:00 (1 hour lunch)

37.5 hours per week

Key responsibilities of the Reception Supervisor:

  • Portraying a professional, efficient, high-quality company image to all visitors and callers
  • Supervising three members of the Office Services Team and ensuring that all duties are carried out to the highest standard
  • Managing the rota and holidays and arranging cover where required
  • Submitting monthly cost reports to the Line Manager
  • Completing daily checks of the marketing suite and reporting any issues
  • Overseeing and operating the switchboard; answering and directing both internal and external callers
  • Welcoming visitors to the Head Office
  • Overseeing and assisting in the sorting of all incoming/internal/external mail
  • Ordering stationery and workwear
  • Preparing and serving refreshments
  • Managing the meeting rooms
  • Driving the company fleet vehicles

To fulfil the role of Reception Supervisor role you must:

  • Possess a valid UK driving licence, as driving company fleet vehicles will be required
  • Exhibit confidence and friendliness in both telephone and face-to-face interactions
  • Demonstrate excellent time management, organisational, and numerical skills
  • Effectively manage conflicting priorities
  • Be proficient with computers
  • Work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment with strict and varied deadlines
  • Maintain a presentable appearance at all time

A vacancy has arisen within the Office Services Team for a Reception Supervisor to help coordinate the day-to-day running of the department and ensure all duties are carried out effectively and efficiently. Full training will be provided to enable you to fulfil the role, however, we are looking for someone who ideally has some reception supervision experience and holds a full UK driving licence.
