Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be working with an exciting Rotherham based food manufacturer to recruit a Production Supervisor.
Salary: up to £35,000
Hours: Shifts – 4 on, 4 off (6am – 6pm, 6pm – 6am)
Our client is looking for a self-motivated, dynamic Production Supervisor, with an enthusiastic approach and the willingness to go the extra mile.
Duties of the Production Supervisor will include:
- Ensure health and safety standards are maintained, people are wearing correct PPE and corrective action is taken where necessary
- Manage Production activity ensuring quality targets are met through the effective use of KPIs
- Ensure staffing levels are correct for requirements
- Ensure GMP and housekeeping standards are always audit ready
- Provide coaching and leadership to all team members, identifying any training needs
- Ensure any production / packing issues are identified and addressed in an efficient manner
- Liaise with Engineering team to ensure appropriate response and ongoing maintenance
We are looking for Production Supervisor with the following skills/experience:
- Experience working within a Food Manufacturing environment
- Previous leadership experience essential
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels
- Good organisational skills
- Excel in working within a fast-paced pressurised environment
