VIQU are seeking a Managed Service Solutions Consultant to join an IT business that specialise in providing a broad spectrum of IT services and solutions.
The Managed Service Solutions Consultant will work within the pre-sales team, working closely with customers to identify their objectives and obstacles. As the Managed Service Solutions Consultant, you will advise clients on how to implement Managed and Professional Services or enhance their current usage and will be responsible for collaborating with internal sales teams, service partners, and service offerings. The Managed Service Solutions Consultant will be encouraged and supported in developing the business in response to evolving market trends. In addition, our client provide a variety of technology products and you will be expected to have a comprehensive understanding of these, to allow you to elevate these offerings by integrating professional and managed services, delivering comprehensive end-to-end solutions through collaboration with the Account managers
Essential Requirements of the Managed Service Solutions Consultant:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role (Consultant/Presales/Consultative Sales)
- Previous experience working with a Managed Service Provider
- Strong knowledge of technology solutions - specifically around managed and professional services
- Experience in selling or providing support for outsourcing needs to end users.
Responsibilities of the Managed Service Solutions Consultant:
- Apply consultative skills to identify and address customer challenges.
- Design and develop solution proposals through discovery and assessment discussions, with assistance from vendors, distributors, and service partners.
- Present and demonstrate outsourcing solutions, including professional and managed services, during customer meetings.
- Support the preparation of bids and responses to customer tenders for both local and international projects, collaborating with teams across multiple countries.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the competitive landscape and complementary solutions within the key vendor portfolio.
- Build and sustain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and service partners.
- Actively develop, manage, and update the Services portfolio and catalog.
