Description
As a Systems Accountant you will:
- Enhance and streamline financial systems and processes.
- Lead financial system projects and initiatives.
- Partner with IT and Finance teams to drive system improvements.
- Provide system training and support to the Finance team.
- Manage data quality and integrity within financial systems.
- Develop and implement system-related policies and procedures.
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities through the use of financial systems.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and analysis.
Profile
A successful Systems Accountant should have:
- An Accountancy Qualification (CIMA/ CIPFA/ ACA/ ACCA)
- Proven experience in financial systems and processes improvement.
- Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and best practices.
- Strong IT skills, particularly in financial software systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- A proactive and innovative approach to work.
