Our client a leading West London College is looking to recruit Student Recruitment Coordinators to join the team.

This position serves as a crucial link between prospective students and the College ensuring a seamless transition from initial inquiry to successful enrolment. The Student Recruitment Coordinator is responsible for delivering a high-quality applicant experience, facilitating admissions, and nurturing student progression through the enrolment pipeline.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide professional, fair, and efficient support to new and progressing students across campuses, offering Information and Guidance throughout the admissions and enrolment process.
  • Efficiently cover incoming calls, managing initial contact calls, transferring inquiries appropriately, and converting inquiries into applications where applicable.
  • Manage incoming communications via various channels (email, chat, messages), ensuring prompt and accurate responses to student queries.
  • Evaluate applications consistently, making admissions decisions in line with institution criteria and English language requirements.
  • Issue offers, short-list applicants for interviews, and collaborate with relevant stakeholders to support students through the admissions process to college attendance.
  • Maintain accurate records of inquiries, admissions, and enrolments across internal and external databases/systems.
  • Assess supporting documentation, conduct eligibility assessments, and advise applicants on procedural matters related to their application/enrolment.
  • Provide support and advice to academic staff regarding qualifications and their equivalence with overseas qualifications.
  • Support staff and students on admissions and enrolment practices and processes.
  • Attend recruitment events and activities, representing the institution.
  • Attend training sessions and meetings as required.

Person requirements:

  • Experience working within enrolment or admissions team
  • Experience working within another college or higher education institution
  • Great team player
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Comply with Institution Policies and Procedures.
  • Promote and implement the Collage's Safeguarding Policy.
  • Participate in staff development and training schemes.
  • Adhere to the Institution's Health and Safety policy.
  • Undertake any other reasonable duties as required.
