Shift Patterns: 22.5 hours, Monday to Friday, 08:00-17:00 Part time considered

In this role you will be required to:
- Have Paediatric experience
- Training and experience for working with babies and children under 12 months of age is desirable
- Evaluate patients to identify speech, language, voice, fluency and swallowing disorders
- Develop treatment plans based on assessment results and patient needs in order to improve speech, language the communication skills
- Implement techniques to enhance articulation, fluency, voice quality and language comprehension and expression
- Work with patients experiencing dysphagia to improve their ability to safely swallow food and liquids
What you'll need:
- HCPC Registration
- Degree or equivalent in Speech and Language Therapy
- Previous NHS experience working with children
- Able to have a caring and empathetic approach to support patients and their families emotionally and psychologically.
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
