Salary: £50,000 - £65,000 ??
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain MySQL database systems. ???
- Monitor database performance, ensuring optimal efficiency and responsiveness. ??
- Implement data backup and recovery solutions to prevent data loss. ??
- Collaborate with development teams to design and optimize database structures. ??
- Troubleshoot database issues and resolve performance bottlenecks. ??
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as updates and patches. ??
- Ensure database security and compliance with data protection regulations. ??
- Create and manage user accounts with appropriate permissions. ??
- Provide on-call support for database-related emergencies. ??�?
Experience needed:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience. �?
- 5 years' experience as a MySQL Database Administrator. ??
- Proficiency in database installation, configuration, and maintenance. ??
- Strong understanding of database performance tuning and optimization. ??
- Familiarity with database security and data protection. ??
- Experience with AWS and/or Azure
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team. ??
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams. ??
