Our client is a leading automation company dedicated to delivering cutting-edge automation solutions. With a strong commitment to innovation and excellence, we are seeking a talented Commissioning Engineer to join our dynamic team.

Job Overview:

As a Commissioning Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful implementation and functionality of our automation systems. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of four years of experience in commissioning, with a focus on Human Machine Interface (HMI) and Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) technologies. Additionally, candidates must demonstrate a proven track record in electrical, pneumatic, or mechanical aspects of automation.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with project teams to understand system requirements and design specifications.
  • Conduct hands-on commissioning activities, including system integration, testing, and troubleshooting.
  • Configure and program HMIs and PLCs to meet project specifications.
  • Diagnose and resolve electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical issues during commissioning.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Provide technical support to clients and internal teams as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant vocation training or qualification in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of four years of experience in commissioning, with a focus on HMI and PLC technologies.
  • Proven expertise in electrical, pneumatic, or mechanical aspects of automation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with HMI and PLC platforms such as Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi, Festo, Codesys and Siemens.
  • Knowledge of 6 Axis Robot Systems.
  • Familiarity with Servos, VFD's, Remote I/O), Ethernet and Profibus.
