They're looking for an experienced individual with extensive experience in structural design of buildings. Structural Engineer Position Overview
- Delivering design calculations for buildings insurance claims, including subsidence, fire, impact, flooding and storm damage
- Completing site visits for residential and commercial building projects
- Delivering small to medium design projects
- Ensuring that the team reaches the monthly sales targets by driving business development
- Reporting to the Associate Director and providing progress reports
- Developing new ideas to help shape the future of the business
Structural Engineer Position Requirements
- Degree in Civil and/or Structural Engineering
- 2 years post graduate design experience
- A general understanding of building structures and materials including steel, masonry, concrete and timber
- Proficient in the use of AutoCad and Revit
- Working towards chartership - MICE or MIStructE
- Excellent communication skills, ensuring great customer service
- Excellent work ethic, willing to go above and beyond to support the company growth
- Passionate about new technologies, progressive change and continuous improvement
- Car owner and UK driving licence, able to travel to site
