Senior Contract Officer | Hybrid | £40,000- £43,000 | North Yorkshire | Permanent
Castlefield Recruitment are working with a public sector organisation based in North Yorkshire, to recruit a Senior Contract Officer to join on a permanent basis.
This organisation operates a flexible working policy, with the ability to work from home at least 3 days a week.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a close-knit team. This position would be ideally suited to an individual with relevant experience of managing procurement processes across various categories and has a good interpretation of procurement legislation.
Role:
- Conduct low-value, under-threshold tenders
- Manage commercial and contract management strategies of spend
- Develop and implement procurement savings plans
- Negotiate and influence both internal and external stakeholders to ensure the delivery of compliant contracts
Individual:
- CIPS Level 5 qualification is preferred, or relevant experience
- Proven experience in public or private sector procurement
- Demonstrated experience in leading and managing procurement projects
- In-depth knowledge of procurement legislation
