A globally recognised, award-winning B2B business, experiencing significant growth is looking for a Head of Finance .
Position: We are looking for an experienced Head of Finance to join a dynamic team. This newly created role is integral to the business and management team, offering the opportunity to lead and develop the finance team while providing critical insights into operations.
Role Overview: As the Head of Finance, you will deliver top-notch service during a time of growth and excellence. You'll handle diverse briefs and requests with varying priorities and deadlines, showcasing a 'can do' attitude and multi-tasking prowess.
Key Responsibilities:
Monthly Accounting:
- Oversee all accounting duties, including primary ledgers and cash books.
- Prepare monthly management accounts and financial board pack.
- Manage balance sheet reconciliation.
- Develop the finance team.
Annual Accounting & Stakeholder Liaison:
- Assist in preparing statutory accounts and tax returns.
- Liaise with auditors and external stakeholders.
- Produce and submit investor reports.
- Support due diligence for sales or mergers.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Produce monthly forecasting reports.
- Develop annual budgets with senior management.
Commercial Financial Analysis:
- Evaluate commercial performance metrics.
- Communicate business data insights for senior management decisions.
- Ensure data accuracy and meaningful analysis.
Systems & Processes:
- Lead the implementation and development of new financial systems and processes.
Requirements:
- CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified
- Relevant experience in a similar role
- Preferred: Previous PE and SME experience
- Leadership in finance and non-finance matters
- Process improvement mindset
