About the Role
In this role you'll manage and streamline the company's Accounts Payable and financial transactions. Responsibilities include:
- Managing the end-to-end purchase invoice process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Processing daily financial transactions with precision and attention to detail.
- Updating and maintaining general ledgers and accounting records.
- Resolving any accounting issues or discrepancies that arise.
- Conducting monthly supplier invoice reconciliations to ensure accurate records.
- Managing multiple daily bank reconciliations and keeping cash flow updated.
- Producing weekly creditor reports and overseeing weekly payment runs.
- Handling bank administration and managing non-stock purchase orders.
- Assisting with month-end tasks to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- Monitoring the accounts mailbox daily and addressing queries promptly.
What You'll Need
- A finance or accounting degree (or equivalent).
- Strong numerical and analytical abilities with great attention to detail.
- Confidence using Excel and a willingness to learn new financial systems.
- The ability to collaborate well in a team environment and communicate your ideas effectively.
- A positive, can-do attitude with a passion for problem-solving.
