Job Title: Technical MSP Engineer
Location: Salford, Manchester
Salary: £35,000 DOE
Structure: Hybrid (WFH and field)
Our client, a growing IT solutions provider are looking for a Technical MSP Engineer to join their team. Dedicated to delivering exceptional technology and customer service that offer network management, cybersecurity, cloud solutions, and IT support.
The ideal candidate will have experience with:
- Azure AD & Active Directory
- Office 365 and applications
- DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, WAN/LAN
- Hyper-V / VMware
- Security - Anti-virus, Anti-spam etc
- SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Exchange
- Firewalls, Routers, Switches
Day-to-day:
- Provide technical support to clients remotely and face-to-face.
- Provide advanced troubleshooting and resolution for network and system issues.
- Manage and maintain client infrastructure, including servers, networks, and applications.
- Perform regular system monitoring, backups, and maintenance tasks.
- Escalate and manage complex technical issues to 3rd line support when necessary.
- Install, configure, and update software and hardware components.
- Monitor and respond to service desk tickets in a timely manner.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation of client environments and issue resolutions.
