Description

The key responsibilities of the Management Accountant include:

  • Lead the preparation of management accounts, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for two entities within the group
  • Assist with financial accounting tasks such as preparing financial statements and balance sheets
  • Support the month-end and year-end close processes
  • Collaborate with project managers to analyse costs and improve financial controls
  • Ensure compliance with industry-specific financial regulations and company policies

Profile

The successful Management Accountant will have:

  • A solid background in management accounting, with experience in financial accounting duties
  • Proficiency in financial reporting and analysis
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in the construction industry is a plus, but not essential
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a collaborative team environment
