Registered Manager (Autistic Children's Home)

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum
Location: Goldthorpe, South Yorkshire
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time (37 hours per week, flexible rota system)

Who We Are Looking For:

We are seeking an experienced Registered Manager to join and lead our team. As a proven leader, you will manage all aspects of the service, including development and strategy, in line with Ofsted requirements and our policies. You will ensure the highest standards of professional support and safeguard the children we support, promoting growth, independence, and positive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the service in compliance with Ofsted and our charity's requirements
  • Develop and implement strategies for service improvement
  • Ensure children receive high-quality support, life opportunities, and meaningful outcomes
  • Maintain accurate records and produce reports for partners and funders
  • Liaise with landlords and broker positive tenant-landlord relationships

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Proven experience working with children in a residential setting at a senior level
  • Understanding of the principles of Health and Safety and children's rights
  • Knowledge and understanding of autism and relevant legislative framework
  • Experience reviewing quality of care and submitting Regulation 45 reports
  • Sound knowledge of Safeguarding and the role of the DSL
  • Recognised social work qualification
  • Level 5 in leadership and management for children and young people's services
  • Management qualification at level 4 or above
  • At least two years' experience managing a children's service as a Deputy Manager or Registered Manager
  • Experience managing Ofsted inspections and achieving SCCIF standards
  • Driving licence and access to own transport
