My client is the largest independent health and social care provider across the Southwest of England and South Wales providing innovative, effective and forward-thinking care for adults with specialist mental healthcare needs.
This service, located in Pontypridd is a purpose built service with 4 single gender units providing forensic treatment and rehabilitation for adults with severe and enduring mental illness, mentally disordered offenders in low secure and women with mental health needs and personality disorders in a locked ward.

Duties for the Clinical Lead include:
- Provide clinical leadership, guidance and support to all clinical staff across the service
- Ensure robust clinical supervision arrangements are in place for all clinical staff
- Attend clinical governance meetings and provide regular updates and assurance in relation to governance of the service
- To lead on the development of quality improvement plans for the service
- To work closely with the Hospital Director to ensure appropriate use of staff, finance and other resources across the service, providing specific clinical advice and support as required
- Identify and respond to any safeguarding issues inline with company policy
Requirements for the Registered Nurse include:
- Registered Nurse with valid Pin RGN/RMN/RNLD
- Dedicated to delivering a high standard of care
- Good Mental Health knowledge
- Good knowledge of clinical governance processes
- Good knowledge of hospitals
