We're looking for a Marketing Data Analyst who has a passion for live events whether they be music, sporting, or business and hobby focused. A large exhibition centre located in Birmingham is looking for a Marketing Data Analyst to play a critical role in driving data-driven decision-making within our team. Your mission? To work closely with the B2C Marketing team to optimise campaigns and improve customer engagement, while ensuring integrity and compliance with privacy regulations.

You need to be a wizard with market attribution and using analytical tools. Being able to present and report to colleagues and senior teams so that data-driven decisions can be made is an essential skill.

What you'll do as Marketing Data Analyst:

  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for various campaigns.
  • Continuously track and monitor campaign performance against these KPIs.
  • Design and implement A/B tests to evaluate the effectiveness of different campaign strategies.
  • Conduct descriptive analysis to understand past performance and identify trends.
  • Generate regular reports on campaign performance, audience engagement, and other key metrics.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards for real-time performance monitoring and reporting.
  • Use predictive models to forecast future trends and behaviours.
  • Analyse data to generate actionable insights that can inform strategies and decisions.
  • Provide recommendations to the team for optimising campaigns and improving customer engagement.
  • Work closely with the team and the wider business to understand their needs and objectives.
  • Communicate findings, insights, and recommendations to key stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.
  • Provide training and support to other team members on tools and analytics best practices.
  • Use analytics tools to analyse and visualise data.
  • Support in the onboarding of new data and marketing delivery partners (e.g. ESP, CDP, Mobile Apps)
  • Ensure the CRM system is integrated with other sources for seamless data flow and analysis.
  • Automate repetitive tasks to improve efficiency and accuracy.

We're looking for a Marketing Data Analyst with:

  • Degree or equivalent in Data Science, Statistics, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in digital marketing/data analysis
  • Proven track record of managing successful digital campaigns.
  • Experience with CRM systems and integrating data from multiple sources.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with analytics tools.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Understanding of privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and best practices for security.
