Manufacturer Partnership Manager

on behalf of our client who specialist in Employee Car Ownership Schemes and other Car Customised Schemes. Our schemes are thoughtfully designed to bring benefits to both employer and employees.

Location: Bury, Greater Manchester

Working hours: 35 hours per week, from Monday to Friday (hybrid opportunity with 2 days per week in the office and 3 days working from home)

  • The successful Manufacturer Partnership Manager will support and increase business growth with our automotive brand partner schemes and enhance the proposition within the franchised dealer network and manufacturer employees
  • A multi-faceted role covering data analysis and reporting, product and marketing strategy, commercial positioning and account management
  • Working hours: 35 hours per week, from Monday to Friday (hybrid opportunity with 2 days per week in the office and 3 days working from home)

responsibilities:

Product Knowledge

  • Gain a thorough understanding of all solutions and technical structures, to apply and evolve our products to meet our manufacturer partners objectives
  • Closely monitor the commercial position of existing solutions to create recommendations for future scheme improvements in collaboration with stakeholders and automotive partners
  • Identify potential competitor solutions to ensure the client remains competitive and valuable to our manufacturer partners
  • Ensure all vehicle schemes are effectively managed with the companies' systems and design improvements, and are developed and implemented accurately and met within deadlines provided

Brand Expertise

  • Acquire a comprehensive understanding of each manufacturer brand within in your portfolio, including product and range knowledge, manufacturer objectives, industry and brand challenges, as well as opportunities, to develop a well-rounded understanding of every manufacturer
  • Seek manufacturer industry intelligence such as production schedules, vehicle lead time, order bank and used car information to analyse and uncover potential opportunities and risks within each scheme
  • Research industry and manufacturer brand news to deepen your understanding of the automotive industry, explore the significance of employee vehicle benefits and leverage this knowledge to develop captivating brand strategies and marketing campaigns.

Analysis and Reporting

  • Analyse and report on performance, trends, and exceptions to external and internal customers to highlight successes and areas of focus to continually improve brand plans and future sale strategies
  • Enhance KPI reporting suite to support both the manufacturer and objectives
  • Challenge existing reporting and data resources to enhance internal and external scheme reporting, to uncover compelling narratives and trends within the data, and support justifications for scheme and sales enhancements
  • Collaboration with stakeholder to continuously improve process driven reporting which aligns with our manufacturer partners objectives

Communication

  • Provide regular activity and opportunity updates to all stakeholders, including scheme and policy changes, new vehicle information, and sales insights
  • Maintain frequent engagement with manufacturer partners to provide scheme performance updates, resolve queries, identify risks and opportunities, and discuss future scheme strategies
  • Produce weekly and monthly management board reporting summarising all latest scheme activity and forecasted commercial impacts
  • Manage and maintain all activities with the CRM systems and document all current and future tasks which align to your brand strategy
  • Create compelling marketing briefs to support and manufacturer objective to maximise awareness of every scheme and generate incremental participation

Manufacturer Partnership Manager Requirements:

  • Educated to A Level or equivalent level in a business or commercial subject
  • Highly analytical and numerical with strong verbal and written communication skills at all levels.
  • Good knowledge of systems and MS Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Thoroughness, patience, and pride to deliver every task to extremely exacting standards
  • Meticulous organisational skills and exemplary attention to detail at a granular level
  • Self-motivated, committed and prepared to take accountability for and see all tasks through to completion.
  • Experience in managing client accounts with a proven track record in developing and maintaining excellent working relationships with all stakeholders

Desirable:

  • Competent presentation skills to audiences at all levels
  • Previous experience in the automotive industry
  • Previous experience in managing and contributing to projects
