CATERING Procurement Project Manager

This is an exciting and fast-moving position fort someone with a background in purchasing or working with **CATERING SUPPLIERS .**You will get involved in every aspect of sourcing or re-purposing catering equipment for this well-known restaurant chain and will liaise with kitchen designers and construction teams . Title: CATERING Procurement Project Manager

Team Procurement : Catering Suppliers /Equipment

Salary c£45,000 (Base of c£41,000 + £4000 bonus= £45k)

Location : High Wycombe

Language required: Fluent English

Work style: 3 days in the office . 2 wfh

The role:

This is a very exciting and creative role in which you be involved in sourcing new catering equipment and & re-engineering existing products for the hotel and restaurant sector. In this position you will have extensive contact with existing and new suppliers , distributors as well as with kitchen construction and their design teams

Duties: The role is a mix of purchasing and project management.

  • Sourcing new catering & kitchen equipment suppliers
  • Research new equipment cost, availability, quality & compliance (including energy consumption, warranty issues etc)
  • Produce analytical reports to support purchasing decisions in this category
  • Explore re-purposing of existing equipment and managing spec changes
  • Liaising with teams across the business regarding project plans, installations and deadlines

REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience sourcing or working with catering equipment,
  • Some experience in supplier engagement and new supplier development
