Reporting to the Head of Finance, main responsibilities include:
- Provide practical, technical advice on tax matters to finance teams and overseas branches/subsidiaries, ensuring compliance with local tax requirements and supporting business initiatives.
- Manage the preparation and submission of UK subsidiaries' corporation tax returns, handling resulting queries and ensuring timely and accurate remittance of direct and indirect taxes.
- Supervise the cash flow forecasting for organisation and its subsidiaries, ensuring that financial obligations are met and maintaining robust control of cash flow.
- Oversee the preparation and audit of financial statements for subsidiary entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external tax advisers, auditors, and bankers, managing interactions to ensure cost-effective and efficient service delivery.
The successful candidate will have:
- Experience of working in a changing environment and delivering process upgrades.
- At least one of; Accountancy, Tax or Treasury qualification.
- An understanding of financial ledgers and statutory financial reports.
Sector experience is not required, but a desire to drive improvements and demonstrating strong commercial awareness is essential.
