This is a great opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join one of the leading Residential Developers in the UK. Due to their continued growth and success delivering high quality developments across the region, they have a healthy order book well into 2025.
The role - Quantity Surveyor
Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting detailed cost analysis and preparing estimates for residential construction projects
- Collaborating with the project team to establish and monitor project budgets, ensuring financial targets are met
- Evaluating and negotiating subcontractor and supplier agreements to secure the best value for the company
- Managing and controlling costs throughout the project life cycle, identifying potential risks and proposing mitigation strategies
- Conducting regular site visits to assess progress and identify any variations or issues that may impact project costs
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions related to the project
- Collaborating with other departments to optimise cost-effectiveness and efficiency in project delivery
Quantity Surveyor Requirements:
- You're currently operating as a Quantity Surveyor with circa 5+ years experience
- Residential Developer experience is essential for this role
- Social housing experience
