Finance Administrator

Jigsaw Creative Care are looking for an ambitious, motivated, experienced and reliable Finance Administrator to join their friendly small Finance Team in Beech Hill, Reading.

The successful individual will support the Finance & Payroll Manager with various accounts administration activities. You will be required to assist in a wide range of day to day finance processes. We use Xero as our account package (full training can be provided for Xero), and Sage for Payroll (full training can be provided). The ideal person will have used both Xero and Sage payroll for their day to day tasks.

Due to the location of our office, it is recommended that applicants can drive and have their own vehicle (as we are not on a bus route). Please apply with a covering letter of current salary and salary expectation.

Duties include:

  • Process mileage claims
  • Cash cheque
  • Process new starters and leavers
  • Submitting decision documents
  • Purchase Ledger processing of purchase orders, invoices and payments
  • Month end reconciliations for various bank accounts and credit cards
  • Overseeing cash books
  • Finance Inductions
  • Data input in Xero
  • Ordering office stationery
  • Payroll data inputting, payroll queries (training will be provided)
  • Processing decision documents (training will be provided)
  • Other duties to support the Administrator and Manager

About you:

  • Experience of finance or accounts administration of at least 1-2 years;
  • Good IT skills to include preparation of accurate documentation;
  • Self-motivated team player;
  • Exhibit a good telephone manner and both verbal and written communication skills;
  • Like working with numbers with a great eye for detail;
  • Able to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing;
  • Good interpersonal skills, including the ability to build positive relationships with customers and colleagues;
  • Good organisational skills and ability to prioritise own workload effectively;
  • Recognises and understands the importance of confidentiality;
  • Able to perform data input with accuracy;
  • Friendly, and calm.

Pay: £26,000.00-£33,000.00 per year
