Randstad are currently looking for an experienced Section Engineer to work with a west established Civil Engineering Contractor on a Severn Trent Water Scheme in Leicester.

As a Section Engineer, you will play a key role in overseeing the successful delivery of a critical infrastructure project. You will be responsible for managing and coordinating all engineering activities, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving the project forward, meeting deadlines, and achieving project milestones.

**Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Oversee engineering activities, ensuring adherence to project specifications and timelines.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality control procedures, ensuring all work meets industry standards.
  • Team Coordination: Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Problem Solving: Identify and resolve technical issues, providing innovative solutions to challenges as they arise.
  • Compliance: Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and environmental standards.

Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Section Engineer on large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • Strong understanding of water industry standards and regulations.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
