I am delighted to be working with The Anne Frank Trust, who are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Philanthropy Manager to join their team and help advance their mission of empowering young people to challenge all forms of discrimination.

Philanthropy Manager

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per year (including London weighting)

Location: Hybrid / London office (located in Kentish Town)

Permanent

Full-time (37.5 hours per week), with occasional evening/weekend activities.

Hybrid working: 2 days in the office per week plus occasional UK travel

About the Charity
At the Anne Frank Trust, they are singularly focused on educating young people to develop positive attitudes towards their diverse peers. By sharing the inspiring story of Anne Frank, they motivate young people to become peer educators and champions for equality, impacting over 100,000 pupils annually.

Founded by members of the Jewish community, the Anne Frank Trust comprises a diverse team that extends its reach to all communities, aiming to challenge prejudice in every form. Their programs have yielded remarkably successful outcomes, with 87.6% of participants reporting more positive attitudes towards at least one other group of people different from themselves.

The Role
As the Philanthropy Manager, your responsibilities will include managing a portfolio of high-value funders, including grant-makers, family foundations, companies, and individuals. You will identify and assess high-value funding opportunities, deepen relationships, make approaches to potential supporters and partners, engage them in our work, and secure funding to grow sustainable income at the five and six-figure level.

What We're Looking For
You must have a proven success in managing a high-value fundraising portfolio, with a track record of securing five and six-figure funding. You must also have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to cultivate positive funder relationships. Strong writing skills for developing high-quality, compelling funding proposals, pitches, presentations, and reports are also essential.
You must have enthusiasm for the work and ambition of the Anne Frank Trust UK, with a deeply held belief in equity, diversity, and inclusion.
