Reed HR are currently looking for a HR Administrator to join our client on a 12-month fixed term contract.
- Hours: 9.30am - 4.30pm Monday to Friday
- Office based role

Role Purpose:
To assist the HR team in the smooth running of the HR Department to ensure that HR provides the highest possible level of assistance and guidance to all employees.
Responsibilities:
- Providing administrative support for Human Resources
- Maintaining accurate absence data
- Prepare details of maternity/paternity/overtime/bonus/salary changes for Payroll Maintain records for employees, including inputting adjustments, holiday, sickness and flex dates
- Prepare contractual change letters, ensuring changes are passed to Payroll
- Recruitment: placing advertisements; coordinating agencies, logging applicants; arranging interviews; preparing rejection letters as appropriate; preparing confirmation of employment; referencing new employees
- Ensuring employee files are kept in good order and up to date
- Maintain confidentiality of all Human Resource issues
- Employee Assistance Assist with preparing inductions
- Arrange pension meetings for employees
- Administration duties for employee benefits
- Send letters of confirmation, extensions or termination to staff in relation to their probation period
- Pro-actively monitor the Probation spreadsheet and send out cyclical reminders to line managers
- Respond to ad hoc requests for information from internal or external sources
- Processing new starter documentation including contracts and links for DBS checks
- Assisting new and existing employees with any DBS queries
Experience:
- Previous experience within a HR Admin / HR Coordinator / HR Officer / HR Assistant role
- Experience with Payroll is preferable
