Role: Senior Catering Assistant
Location: The UCH Macmillan Cancer Centre, LondonShifts: Shifts between 06.30am and 22.00pm, 5 days out of 7, including weekends on rotation
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours/ weekSalary: £14.15/hour + excellent benefits (pension, health cover, flexible benefits package plus career development)

From preparing meals to creating counter displays, you'll help us create and serve food that's every bit as fresh, eye-opening and enticing as those served by the best hotels and restaurants.

What you'll do
- Preparing food accordingly to specs and in line with food safety and allergen regulation
- Implement portion control, preparation, and storage methods to minimize wastage and control costs
- Manage allergen protocol
- Address individual requests and listen attentively to patient remarks, taking necessary follow-up actions
- Support the roll out of any training program to enhance the overall patient experience
- Willingly assist in other tasks within the unit when necessary
- Identify opportunities to improve work activities or reduce costs and report them to the manager
- Deliver training to the team as per senior management instruction
