We are delighted to be partnering with a top 80 accountancy practice based in the heart of Manchester, and we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Accountant to join their team. If you are an ACCA or ACA qualified accountant with a passion for delivering exceptional service to clients, this is the perfect opportunity for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review statutory year end accounts, management accounts, and tax returns for a diverse portfolio of clients.
- Manage and oversee junior staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality work and professional development.
- Liaise with clients to understand their financial needs and provide tailored advice and solutions
- Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to help clients improve their financial performance
- Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring exceptional client service at all times
Requirements:
- ACCA or ACA qualified with a minimum of 4 years UK practice experience
- Strong technical accounting skills and knowledge of current accounting legislation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships
- Proven experience in mentoring junior staff
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
