This is a fantastic opportunity for a Logistics and Purchasing Assistant to embark on an opportunity with a world-renowned company at the forefront of their market. You will sit in the Supply Chain function, building strong customer relations, negotiating, and working with continuous improvement to implement best practices.

This Logistics and Purchasing Assistant will suit anyone with relevant experience with transport planning, and most importantly, it will benefit an individual with a strong team-working ability.

Roles and responsibilities

  • Organising and managing the logistics for goods coming in and out. Minimising the costs and meeting the customer expectations.
  • Ensuring that all the purchase orders are acknowledged correctly.
  • Addressing and discrepancies with suppliers promptly.
  • Prepare transport documents, including notes and customs.
  • Identify areas for process improvement within the transport function.
  • Facilitate smooth procurement processes.

Experience and Skills

  • Previous experience in transport planning or logistics is preferred.
  • Proactive approach in addressing issues and managing tasks.
