Team Manager
Team: SEND
Location: Bradford
Rate: £622.50 per day
- Lead the Contract & Quality function in relation to commissioned services in relation to children's SEND, children's social care & public health services
- Provide management to a team of 7 contract managers and officers in relation to contract management of commissioned services, including the identification of financial, commercial and reputational risks to the council and its partners
- Lead the response in relation to performance, quality, and value for money of in excess of £140m of commissioned activity per annum
- Develop and implement clear contract management processes which ensure the delivery of positive outcomes and ensure value for money of commissioned services
- Engage with senior leaders to set strategic direction in relation to commissioned services and ensure clear and evidence-based decisions

- DIPSW or equivalent qualification in Social Work
- Social Work England registration
- Enhanced and in date DBS certificate.
- Excellent communication skills and be able to make good decisions based on information available.
- Can work alone and within/contribute to a team/multi-agency set ups
- Possess knowledge of service needs.
- Competent IT skills and be able to navigate electronic file/recording systems.
- Can write clear, concise, and robust assessment/reports/files.
- Have a flexible approach to work and working hours when the need arises
