Payroll Administrator

We are looking for a Payroll Administrator to join us at one of our biggest fashion retailer sites in Crick. In this role, you'll provide efficient administrative support to the HR and Payroll department, ensuring the smooth and accurate processing of payroll for our employees

This is full time, permanent position. You will be working Monday - Friday, during business hours, but there is a level of flexibility required.

You'll earn a salary of up to £27,500 per annum and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). What you'll do on a typical day:

  • Complete administration tasks related to payroll queries
  • Use and maintain the time and attendance system in order to process the on site weekly and monthly payroll within specified deadlines
  • Be responsible for the coordination and record-keeping of absence and sickness and manage the absence hotline
  • Set up employee files for new starters, ensure personnel files are accurate, audited, and archived in line with GDPR records
  • Process on site weekly and monthly payroll within specified deadlines

What you need to succeed at GXO:

  • Previous payroll administrative experience in a logistics or warehouse environment
  • Good use of Microsoft Office – Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Demonstrate excellent organisational skills/prioritise workload effectively
  • Takes ownership of processes and responsibility for own workload
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
