About the School
This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a fun and enthusiastic group of Year 3 pupils who are eager to learn and explore. You'll have the freedom to bring your own unique teaching style to the classroom, fostering creativity, curiosity, and a love for learning. With a collaborative teaching team and strong support from staff, you'll play a key role in shaping these young minds as they take on new challenges in their educational journey.
Role: Year 3 Teacher
Location: Salford
Start Date: After the October half-term holidays
Pay: £120 - £150 per day, depending on experience
Year 3 Teacher Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging lessons in line with the KS2 National Curriculum and the school's creative approach
- Scaffold age-appropriate learning to ensure every child's success
- Keep up-to-date data records and identify learning gaps to maintain high levels of attainment
- Build strong, trust-based relationships with pupils
- Collaborate effectively with Teaching Assistants, key stage teams, and other staff to share resources and best practices
Essential Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Strong references showcasing previous teaching experience
- A full employment history on your CV
- Right to work in the UK
All candidates will undergo an enhanced DBS check and must provide suitable references.
