A globally renowned central-London based Museum is seeking a permanent Senior Management Accountant to join their central finance team. This is a great opportunity for candidates seeking a role working with some of the museum's most high-profile and exciting directorates, providing financial and management reporting and business partnering for their exhibitions directorate amongst others.
Overseeing a team of two Management Accountants, you will oversee the budget preparation and management reporting for key directorates for the museum. A key summary of some of the duties of the role is as below:
- Preparation of management reports and quarterly forecasts
- Business partnering with a variety of non-finance budget-holders and stakeholders to ensure the provision of accurate budgetary information
- Provision of financial reporting for the directorates at year-end
- Provision of analysis (both written and verbal) of financial information for senior management team members to help them to make informed decisions
- Line management of two management accountants, ensuring direct reports are supported and developed in their roles and career aspirations

Your experience:
- You will be a qualified accountant (CCAB or equivalent) with management and financial reporting experience
- You will have experience of liaising with a variety of non-finance stakeholders and be able to explain financial
- information in a digestible and accessible way.
- You will have some exposure to staff management, being able to mentor and develop more junior members of staff.·
