Dynamite Recruitment are pleased to be recruiting for our client based in Portsmouth that are looking to recruit an experienced Warehouse Operative to join their team on a
temporary
basis.
Responsibilities will include:
- Wrapping pallets
- Sorting incoming post
- Input of customer orders on in-house carrier system in preparation for daily order collection
- Unloading container deliveries as required (some heavy lifting)
- General warehouse duties, such as keeping working areas clean.
- Ensure that site practices, policies and procedures are followed and hygiene standards are maintained.
- Preparing for dispatch
- Essential to make sure areas clear of obstructions, well organised and clean and tidy at all times.
Ideally you will have:
- Be available immediately!!
- Experience working in a Warehouse, Goods In, Goods Out or Logistics setting
- Basic Numeracy & Literacy
- Able to think on your feet
- This is a physically demanding, fast-paced role, with priorities changing based on business demands.
