Domestic Heating Engineer or Gas Engineer

Salary: £37,700 - £43,200 + 12% pension + 25 days holiday
Location: Blandford

My client, a large housing association, is looking for a skilled Domestic Heating or Gas Engineer to join their dynamic Property Management team in the beautiful Dorset area and become a part of a secure and growing organisation. They are looking for a talented Heating Engineer to provide exceptional service and technical expertise.

As a Heating Engineer, you'll be responsible for servicing and repairing heating systems in customer homes, performing routine maintenance checks, and addressing gas leaks and system part replacements. You'll also install and repair heating pipework, offer advice on gas safety and energy efficiency, and manage your tasks using company-provided technology. Business travel will be facilitated with a company van and fuel card.

You will need:

  • Gas qualifications (CCN1, CENWAT1, MET1, CKR1, and HTR1)
  • A NVQ Level 2 in Domestic Plumbing or equivalent.
  • A full UK driving licence, and experience as a domestic gas service and breakdown engineer, preferably within social housing.
