Due to exceptional growth T&K Associates are currently recruiting on behalf of our Client in Cadeby for a Quality Inspector to join their team on a Temporary to Permanent basis.

Quality Inspector Job Details & Benefits;

  • £460 per week to start with the potential of rising to £558.40 per week when permanent which includes a weekly production bonus
  • 8 hours shifts Monday to Friday starting between 7am-8am - Set shift
  • Monday to Friday - Paid for 40 hours standard as your breaks are paid!

Quality Inspector Job Details;

  • To ensure manufacturing teams are producing products that conform to the established required standard on a daily basis
  • Complete Lab work which includes making daily concrete cubes and cylinders and testing the concrete products
  • Checking moulds against issued drawings to ensure conformity
  • Ensure all reinforced steel work is appropriate to the drawings
  • All necessary paperwork is complete fully and correctly
  • Complete checks to ensure product conforms to acceptable tolerances
  • Ensure the correct product label is applied with a quality label and sign off
  • All repairs are completed with the correct material to the required standard
  • Completing random checks on loads and fittings prior to dispatch
  • Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness at all times

Quality Inspector Person Specification;

  • Good comprehension of Mathematics with the ability to measure with various equipment and to accepted tolerances
  • Familiar with measuring equipment - verniers / calipers / tapes etc
  • IT literate
  • Previous experience in a Quality role is preferred but not essential
  • Good readable clear handwriting
  • A strong eye for detail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Comfortable with handling conflict and resolutions
  • Methodical with a scientific approach to work
  • Highly organised
  • Excellent team player who is honest and self-motivated
