If so, our client, a leading aerospace manufacturer, is recruiting for a contract Mechanical Design Engineer for their site in Fareham. The role will involve developing and implementing structured engineering solutions to meet project and programme requirements.

Job Description
- Developing innovative engineering solutions to meet project requirements to agreed schedule, quality, and cost, working in accordance with company processes.
- Working with internal and external customers and suppliers and cross-functional teams within the business.
- Managing formal requirements allocated to mechanical by system design.
- Compiling work estimates and plans to support project managers.
- Actively contributing to continuous improvements and process improvements within the department and wider business.

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications
- Holder of a bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering disciplines.
- Previous experience of mechanical engineering within a highly regulated industry environment.
- Strong knowledge of SolidWorks or Inventor.
