Locum Childcare Lawyer – Predominantly Remote Working – up to £60 per hour Umbrella – 3 Months + – Midlands
Venn Group's specialist legal team are currently working with an established Local Authority in the Midlands Region who are recruiting for a Locum Childcare Lawyer to join their department. This assignment will be for an initial period of 3 months, subject to possible extension, on a full-time basis.
This role offers a Predominantly Remote Working arrangement with Court attendance as and when required.
The ideal candidate will have recent experience within Public Childcare Law ideally in a Local Government setting however, candidates from Private Practice setting may also be considered.
Duties may include:
- Managing a busy and varied caseload of Childcare cases to include all pre-proceedings
- Advising client departments on complex issues concerning Childcare Law
- Providing Childcare Public Law advice and undertake all aspects of Care Proceedings work
- Attending courts and tribunals undertaking advocacy where required and to represent clients in negotiations and discussions with third parties in matters regarding the areas of legal practice relevant to the post
An hourly rate of up to £60 per hour Umbrella will be considered for this position dependent upon experience.
